Map created with DMAP for Windows

The majority of the Dunlin ringed by the group were caught in nets set in the gravel recovery pits adjacent to the Thames at Swanscombe, Kent. There are only three recoveries in the UK outside of the Thames estuary indicating that there is not a great deal of interchange between the major wintering areas within the UK. The recoveries on this map include four recoveries to and one controll from Otenby, Sweden.
